Roonézie Garbiska" (Roonie)
Roonie had her start when I found an interesting old round frame in one of my sheds. Originally, she was going to be a cartoon painting but after sketching her out, I remembered that I had a collection of canvas paintings that I’d gathered over the years. Hmmm…how about if I cut out her “hair” from one of the paintings? And off I went! After a lot of snipping, Roonie was entirely created from cut up paintings.
